与国际高水平学者共建研究生课程——《可重构计算》授课通知

我校电气工程及自动化学院客座教授、澳大利亚悉尼大学电气与信息工程学院Philip Leong教授将于923日至101日来我校,以悉尼大学授课方式讲授与国际高水平学者共建研究生课程”——《可重构计算》。真诚欢迎老师和同学前来体验世界一流大学的授课方式,并与名师现场交流。

课程简介

基于FPGA开展的可重构计算成为高性能计算的重要发展方向而被广泛关注,本课程将由可重构计算领域的知名专家澳大利亚悉尼大学Philip Leong教授与彭宇教授,王少军讲师共同讲授。课程内容覆盖FPGA基本结构,算法设计,计算结构等内容,并且安排大量面向深度学习的实验环节配合课程内容。上课同学将体验国际一流高校的教学方式,并掌握采用FPGA器件构建可重构计算系统的基本方法,了解该领域的前沿方向,同时也可为人工智能,高性能计算,嵌入式系统等课程提供知识参考。

Philip Leong教授简介

Prof.Philip Leong received the B.Sc., B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Sydney. In 1993 he was a consultant to ST Microelectronics in Milan, Italy working on advanced flash memory-based integrated circuit design. From 1997-2009 he was with the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently Professor of Computer Systems in the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of Sydney, Australia, where he also serves as Acting Head of School.

He is Co-founder, past General Chair and was Chair of the Steering Committee of the “Field Programmable Technology” conference 2000-2014; Program Co-chair of the FPL06 conference; the Senior Associate Editor for ACM Transactions on Reconfigurable Technology and Systems; Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Computer Aided Design; and on the program committee of most major conferences associated with reconfigurable computing including: FPGA, FCCM, FPL, FPT, RAW, RSP, ARC. He is also a Member of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Selection Committee, Visiting Professor at Imperial College London, and Visiting Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology. He is the author of more than 100 technical papers and 4 patents, and was the recipient of the 2005 FPT conference Best Paper as well as the 2007 and 2008 FPL conference Stamatis Vassiliadis Outstanding Paper awards.
